“Bali Flowers” reflects on my time spent in beautiful Bali exploring the spirit of the Arma Museum Resort gardens filled with delicate orchids, ferns, butterflies, and other exotic flowers and plants. I have seldom felt so at peace as in this place. This varied edition hand-pulled 3.875x3.875" linocut print, some hand-coloured, some with hand painted chine colle, is a unique image. It was created from a hand carved and inked linoleum plate that was hand-printed using the back of a spoon to transfer the ink along with the coloured chine colle onto the paper. The chine colle was first hand painted with acrylic inks and dried before applying it with acid-free adhesive onto inked linoplate for transfer onto the work. Other's were hand-painted after the inked design had dried. Limited varied edition run of 20.
