The Sky Is Falling

"The Sky Is Falling" is a series of 7 Monoprints. A Monoprint is a unique image created from a plate or other matrix that has the potential to print in multiple. It is a repeatable image that is made unique by the addition of drawing, or layering ink colors, applying chine colle or patterning. “The Sky Is Falling” was done as a play with oil based ink in varying viscosity color overlays on plexiglass scratched with a design, and with the image then being transferred onto paper.
