Maple Time portrays the fall cyle of maple trees, the casting of leaves night chilled to brilliant hues, the shedding of trees' tired summer dress before winter's sleep. The background, a migration of fallen seeds and other plant life in the rivulets of autumn's drizzle, was inspired by nature artist Andy Goldsworthy, who floats thorn-strung leaves down rivers for his love of the resulting artistic design.
