"If Fishes Were Wishes" expresses my concern with declining fish populations and human capacity for greed and violence. My poem "Pearls" has been incorporated into this Zenwork: "If fishes were wishes and sea grass magic blades, I would cast my net to feed our planet, carve this world a kinder, more gentle space where respect and tolerance swim peaceably. I would turn sharks and barracudas toothlessly thoughtful, then dive for pearls."Pen and Ink on acid-free paper. 5"x7" artwork matted to fit an 8"x10" frame.
